My current research involves on artificial intelligence and robotics, specifically robotic manipulation through object affordances. I am working with advisor Odest Chadwicke Jenkins in the Laboratory for Progress at the University of Michigan. I am also a NASA Space Technology Graduate Research Opportunities (NSTGRO) graduate student researcher and I get to apply my research to Johnson Space Center's Valkyrie robot. I have also had an internship at TRACLabs, which first introduced me to the field of space robotics.
As an undergraduate, I participated in a number of research projects through independent research and courses at Monmouth College. I also worked on two summer Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REUs) at the University of Arizona and Auburn University. For more details on my responsibilities during these research projects, see my CV.
